No proof supports the claim that Lantana camara boost brain function in people. The plant holds compounds that show up in general lab screens. But no one has published a human study testing lantana for any brain benefit. This claim has zero scientific backing today.

Etuh et al. published their 2021 study on lantana extract in fruit flies. That work focused on aging and lifespan, not brain function. The flies lived 44.5% longer at certain doses. But longevity and brain health are different things. No part of that study measured learning or memory. Using this data to claim lantana helps your brain stretches the findings way beyond what they show.
The total absence of research on lantana cognitive effects in people leads to one clear point. Nobody has tested it, so nobody can say it works. Science does not let you jump from a petri dish screen to a health claim without running the trials in between. Any site telling you lantana helps your brain is making a claim with no data behind it.

Your brain deserves help from methods backed by years of human research. Exercise, good sleep, healthy food, social time, and mental challenges all have strong data behind them. These habits carry zero risk of liver damage and have been tested on millions of people.
Skip the lantana and put your time into what science has proven works for your brain. If you want to track plant-based brain research, follow updates on PubMed or through university health letters. If lantana ever shows brain benefits in proper trials, that news will come from medical journals. It won't come from supplement sales pages.
